It’s been awhile since my husband and I did a style post together. Our last one was here but today we are styling stripes.
My hubby is trying the pattern mix for the first time with his new striped shirt that he received from his grandmother and I insisted he let me take pictures of him as I thought he looked like quite the catch in this mixed pattern prep style outfit. He was grinning from ear to ear with that suggestion as he actually likes making an appearance on the blog from time to time. My sweet man!
Ironically I was wearing this striped dress and a stripes collaboration was perfect. The dress you see me styling was bought near Easter and I styled it here, but I wasn’t satisfied with how it looked on me. My hubby and I call this the “grandma mumu” dress as it looks like an old lady dress but styled as an off the shoulder it tones down the “grandma” effect. My husband and I agree that sometimes the right accessories make an otherwise “disagreeable” outfit out to be more “agreeable.”
The stripes speak for themselves but If I told you how awesome my hubby is it would be a list a mile long. I thank God everyday for giving me Chantry. I like to reminisce to the days we met to the moments we found out about each of our children to growing older and perhaps wiser. And I wouldn’t trade that for the world.
