Hubby & Wife Style: ONNO tees (Part 2) & Giveaway

 

 

As I am typing this my husband and I are sitting at our local Target Starbucks getting our coffee fix on after a tiring day. The kids are at church functions and we are just enjoying some downtime between chatting and some tablet time. You might be wondering why or how that is even romantic but really it has been fun. Sometimes some down time away from home is fun, words or no words with your partner,believe me we have laughed and talked. He wanted to give me some blog time as I almost gave up trying to do this post this week after being so sick. Thank you supportive hubby.

Anyway, here is another installment of  Hubby and Wife Style with Chantry ( my hubby) and today we are collaborating again with one of my favorite t-shirt to go shops ONNO tshirts (see our style collaboration from yesterday here).

As mentioned yesterday, ONNO t-shirts  produces t-shirts in friendly work places in China with a focus on bringing work to the people as well as customers t-shirts from organic cottons, hemp and bamboo fibers.

ONNO was nice enough to send my husband a bamboo fibered t-shirt for this style collaboration  My husband choose the men’s bamboo tee line Sky Blue color to style and before I move on to my heather grey bamboo tee from ONNO I will let my husband share with you his thoughts of the bamboo fiber tee displayed in this post.

 

Chantry’s thoughts: ONNO outdid themselves when they made this million dollar shirt or at least this is what it should cost because of how comfortable it is. I love how soft the bamboo fabric is and its exceptionally lightweight. The flexibility of the bamboo material is impressive to say the least. I like the way that the bamboo cotton material holds a unique color contrast unlike a normal cotton tee. If it were possible every shirt in my wardrobe would be made with this material. I picked out this sky blue color because it accentuates my eyes and I allowed Rachel to pick the rest of my outfit to compliment it of course.

 

 

 

My thoughts: ONNO just sent in this heather grey bamboo tee and I agree with my husband in that it is very soft, lightweight and stretchy. I would say that I should have chosen a size larger because I was hoping for a looser fit but instead my normal size is more form fitting which is alright but not what I was going for; However, I will keep wearing it and love the grey color as it compliments the sky blue in Chantrys’ bamboo tee.
